Which Park Treatment Should I Get?

Dr. Sophie takes you through all of Park’s treatments to find your perfect fit

You may have noticed that we added some new treatment options to our line-up. This may have you wondering “what’s the best treatment for me?” It all depends on what your skin concerns are!

CHEMICAL PEELS

Perfect for a cosmetics newbie or someone looking to add to their long-term skincare plan

The least invasive treatment offering at Park, chemical peels are chemical solutions that peel away the upper layers of the skin, exposing fresh skin cells that look younger and are more responsive to serums and other surface treatments.

They improve the appearance of pores, the texture of your skin and result in a glowy, youthful looking appearance. Peels also help reduce acne, mild acne scarring hyperpigmentation, signs of aging and overall dullness.

Chemical peels are the best intro procedure to the cosmetics world. Pairing a peel with the right skincare products, especially as part of a long-term skincare program, is essential to getting the most out of the treatment. Let us know if you’d like any recos!

InMODE MORPHEUS8

Perfect for people who LOVE caring for their skin or have concerns related to acne, scarring, tightening loose skin, improving skin texture and more

A step-up from a chemical peel is Morpheus8 radiofrequency microneedling treatment. Microneedling involves using a matrix of micro pins that are injected into the skin to renew deeper layers of the skin. Don’t worry though, we use a topical numbing cream so you will barely feel a thing! Morpheus8 specifically uses radiofrequency technology which acts to further remodel and rebuild collagen as compared to the effects of microneedling on its own.

Working on a deeper level than chemical peels, Morpheus8 reaches the deep layers of your skin rather than just the superficial level. It’s an amazing tool to improve acne, reduce hyperpigmentation or scarring, tighten loose skin, reduce darkness in the undereye region, and improve skin tone and texture. It can be used on all areas of the body including the stomach to reduce the appearance of C-section scars and to tighten up any loose skin.

Morpheus8 can be used on all skin tones!

Is there anything the Morpheus8 can’t do? (the answer is no, not really)

NEUROMODULATORS – BOTOX AND DYSPORT

Perfect for anyone looking to reduce or prevent future wrinkles

Up next is the first of our injectable products. You’ve likely heard of Botox, a type of neuromodulator that acts to reduce the signs of aging and wrinkles by preventing strong muscle contraction.

By reducing how effectively facial muscles contract, neuromodulators reduce how strongly those muscles pull on your skin which both reduces and prevents lines and wrinkles. This is why you may have heard of Botox referred to as a “preventative” treatment.

Botox, Dysport or other neuromodulators are the best treatment to reduce or prevent wrinkles and deep lines on the forehead, nose and crow’s feet area. We also use neuromodulators for lip flips, which help to evert or push out the lips causing them to appear fuller and poutier.

In addition to cosmetic treatments, Botox can be used for hyperhydrosis, or excessive sweating, and for pain related to migraines or TMJ aka jaw tension

All in all, Botox is a great way to dip your toes into cosmetic injectables!

FILLERS

Perfect for people looking to add volume, define, or fill deep lines

Last but not certainly not least on our list of Park treatments is hyaluronic acid filler injections. Hyaluronic acid fillers draw water back into your skin, improving volume and structure.

Fillers can be used all over the face for different reasons. We add them to lips to make them plump and full, as well as to add structure. They can be used to fill deep set lines around the nasolabial fold region (or smile lines), as well as to reduce the appearance of finer lines around the mouth or cheek region.

Injecting filler along the jawline and chin can help give you a more defined and chiselled appearance. Model-esque cheekbones are just an injection away and sunken under eye areas can be a thing of the past with tear-trough filler injections.

Fillers are a long-lasting option for helping your face to appear more full, youthful, and healthy!

As you can tell, all of our treatments act in different ways to improve the overall appearance of the skin and they can be used together for an even larger impact!

We recommend waiting at least 2 weeks after receiving Botox injections and 3 to 4 weeks after filler injections to receive a chemical peel or microneedling (Morpheus8) treatment. Botox and fillers can be performed at the same appointment, but we do sometimes allow for the effect of Botox to take effect before injecting filler to ensure the best results.

Our expert injectors can review all of this at your initial appointment and make an individualised treatment plan.

What treatment will you choose first?!
