What to expect

  • Before

    Avoid products that increase bleeding and bruising including blood thinners, aspirin, NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatories like advil/ibuprofen), St. John’s Wort, vitamin E and alcohol.

    We recommend staying hydrated prior to treatment to improve effectiveness and increase the hydration effect of the injections.

  • During

    Your visit will be booked for 45 minutes start-to-end.

    We’ll start with a consultation to ensure you are a good candidate for the Redensity® 1 treatment. A separate consultation before starting treatment is not necessary, though you’re more than welcome to book one.

    Your provider will then apply numbing cream to your face to ensure you’re comfortable through the treatment. Once you’re numb, your provider will inject the treatment area using techniques that ensure the product’s delivered to the right layer of the skin.

  • After

    Immediately after, most people will have redness and visible bumps that’ll last up to 48 hours. On some folks they’ll go away quicker, but we don’t recommend you schedule this treatment immediately ahead of any major events or engagements where you want your skin to look flawless. Some clients will experience a mild burning sensation immediately following the treatment.

    For at least two days, avoid wearing makeup to keep the skin clean and free from irritation.

    For up to a week, you may experience mild swelling and bruising. Be gentle with your skin.

    While you should see visible results after one treatment, the real magic happens 2-4 weeks following the last treatment in your three-treatment series.
