    To maintain, we recommend touch-ups every 6 to 12 months, depending on the treatment area, the product used, and your metabolism.

What to expect

  • Before

    Avoid NSAIDs like Advil, ibuprofen, or Aleve and alcohol 24 hours before your appointment to help minimize bruising and swelling. 

    If you're planning to leave Toronto between your treatment and your follow-up assessment, please let us know — we won't be able to treat you without being sure you're available for any necessary post-care that may be required between visits.

  • During

    Your appointment starts with a personalized consultation to discuss your goals and assess your lip anatomy. We’ll recommend the best filler type and amount for you. After cleansing and numbing the area, treatment typically takes about 20 minutes, and you’ll see immediate results.

  • After

    Immediately after, expect swelling and possible bruising. Remain upright for 3 hours after your appointment, avoid significant pressure for 3–5 days, and skip facial massages for at least two weeks to prevent filler migration.

  • Results

    Results are visible immediately but will refine over 1–2 weeks as swelling subsides. We will bring you back at the two-week mark to review your results.

    Post-Treatment Assessment

    We’ll check in to ensure you’re healing well and happy with your results. If any adjustments are needed, we’ll book a follow-up touch-up to make sure everything is just right.

  • Lip filler is a hyaluronic acid-based injectable treatment that adds volume, enhances definition, and improves hydration in the lips.

  • Like any medical procedure, fillers carry some risk including the rare but serious possibility of interrupting blood flow if filler enters a blood vessel. This can lead to complications such as tissue damage or in very rare cases vision loss.

    At Park, all injections are performed by licensed physicians and nurses with advanced training in facial anatomy and complication management. Your safety is our highest priority and we are prepared to intervene immediately if anything does not go as planned.

  • Absolutely. We tailor every treatment to your unique facial structure and goals, ensuring your lips look soft, balanced, and never overdone.

  • Discomfort is minimal. We use topical numbing agents and our fillers contain lidocaine to ease any sensation during the procedure.

  • Lip filler typically lasts 6–12 months. We recommend a 9-month assessment to keep your look fresh, but you’re welcome to return sooner.

  • Hyaluronic acid filler is reversible. If needed, we can dissolve the product using an enzyme called hyaluronidase.
