What’s Best For Me – Chemical Peels or Morpheus8 Microneedling?

Looking to freshen up your skin? We’ve got you covered. You’ve probably noticed that we’ve added some new treatment options to our line-up to help you achieve healthy, youthful, glowing skin with minimal downtime.

If you’re looking to try one of our skin treatments but are unsure which option is the best for you, we’re here to help! It all depends on your skin concerns – so let’s take a closer look at how chemical peels and Morpheus8 support your goals!

Chemical Peel

Addresses concerns around: Acne, mild acne scarring, hyperpigmentation, signs of aging, and dullness of skin

Chemical peels are the most non-invasive treatment we offer. Peels are solutions that, as the name suggests, peel away the upper layers of the skin, exposing fresh skin cells that look younger and are more responsive to serums and other surface treatments. They improve the appearance of pores, the texture of your skin, and result in a glowy, youthful look.

This is the best intro procedure into the cosmetic world. Pairing a peel with the right skincare products as part of a long-term skincare program is essential to getting the most out of this treatment. If you need recommendations for what to use to support long-term success post-peel, let us know!

Morpheus8

Addresses concerns around: Acne, hyperpigmentation, scarring, loose skin, darkness in the undereye region, and skin tone and texture.

Radiofrequency microneedling with InMode Morpheus8 is a step up from a chemical peel. Microneedling involves using a matrix of micro pins that are introduced into the treatment area to renew deeper layers of your skin. Don’t worry though, we use a topical numbing cream so you don’t feel too much discomfort!

What sets Morpheus8 apart from other microneedling treatments? Morpheus8 uses radiofrequency technology to further remodel and rebuild collagen as compared to the effects of microneedling on its own. It works on a deeper level than chemical peels, so it reaches the deep layers of your skin rather than just the superficial level.

This treatment can also be used on all areas of the body, including the stomach to reduce the appearance of C-section scars and to tighten up any loose skin. We’re often left wondering, “Is there anything the Morpehus8 can’t do?”

Pair them up

As you can see, chemical peels and Morpheus8 treatments offer different ways to improve the overall appearance of your skin and they can be used together for an even larger impact!

If you’d like to combine these two for the ultimate skin treatment, we recommend waiting at least four weeks after receiving a chemical peel before booking a Morpheus8 treatment. We typically recommend a series of three to four peels or Morpheus8 sessions for optimal results. Make sure treatments are spaced four to six weeks apart. Our expert injectors can review all of this at your initial appointment and make you an individualized treatment plan.
