Why COVID is the right time to try botox and fillers

I don’t know about you guys, but recent news of a Covid vaccine has us excited! We’ve been hidden away in our homes and behind masks for so long, we’re excited to be able to freely get out and see people again. Unfortunately, it’ll still be at least a few months before the vaccine is widely administered.

As much of a bummer as that is, a few more months of social distancing does give us a unique opportunity -- now is the perfect time to try Botox or fillers! Whether you’ve never had a cosmetic medicine treatment, or if you’ve been thinking about trying something new, now is the right time.

Here are three reasons Covid is the right time to try out injectables:

1. Your audience

One of the things that often holds us back from giving cosmetic treatments a try is that we’re worried people will notice we’ve got “work” done.

While we take a very natural and minimalistic approach to our treatments, it makes sense to feel nervous about what people might notice. This is especially true if you’ve never had a procedure and haven’t seen how natural the results can look.

Giving injectables a try during Covid gives you the opportunity to test-drive a treatment or two before unveiling your fresh look!

2. The perfect opportunity to perfect your treatments

One of the less-often-spoken truths of Botox and filler injections is that it sometimes takes a couple treatments before we find the perfect combination of amount and location of product for your face.

While everyone looks refreshed even after their first treatment, it sometimes takes two or three treatments to perfect your treatment. Making adjustments is actually one of the signs that you’ve found an expert injector

By making little changes over the first few times we meet, we can customize product amount and placement to exactly what your face needs. The (hopefully) last few months of Covid are the right time to perfect your treatments!

3. A little swelling now, a lot of confidence later

Filler is sometimes associated with a little more swelling or bruising than neurotransmitter treatments. We do everything we can to reduce your risk of these and other complications, and we give you detailed instructions to maximize your results.

Sometimes a little bruise or swelling is unavoidable, and what better time to give your face some time to recover than during quarantine? By the time we’re out and about again, any swelling will have settled and your face will be looking fresh and beautiful again!

Covid gives a wonderfully unique opportunity to experiment with new or different treatments without worrying what other people might think. We’re super confident you’ll be thrilled to show off your refreshed look when we get to return to our regular lives. Read more about the Botox and filler treatments we offer, or book a consult!
