What Getting Morpheus8 Is Really Like
Emma tells us how Morpheus8 helped her acne scarring, what the pain actually feels like and answers all the other questions you’ve been curious about.
What do Park Medical and Kim Kardashian have in common? Aside from stating the obvious about our stunning good looks, we also both love telling people how incredible Morpheus8 is for your face and body. But we get it, sometimes hearing it from us can be a little #ad. So we chatted with someone who’s actually been in your shoes – she heard about the treatment, booked an appointment, and felt nervous about the pain after going down a Reddit rabbit hole. We’re sharing parts of that conversation today!
Not familiar with Morpheus8? It’s a RF microneedling treatment used to minimize acne scars, tighten skin, reduce the frequency of breakouts, and improve overall skin texture and complexion. The microneedles of the tool target the deep layers of your skin and apply radiofrequency energy to remodel your skin, fat, and tissue – leaving your skin smoother, firmer, less acne-prone, and more youthful looking!
Emma decided to try out the procedure after hearing the Morpheus8 buzz online; specifically for acne scarring and skin texture concerns. Now having three treatments under her belt, Emma walks us through her full Morpheus8 experience, from researching online to finally finding out what the pain feels like, all the way to her current glow with skin that feels brand new.
Why did you decide to get Morpheus8?
At the time, I was dealing with severe acne – over 100 pimples on my face at one time. I had antibiotics and facial cream to help reduce the acne but was really concerned about the scarring that would come from the level of acne I was experiencing. Online, I was hearing about this new, innovative technology that could help with things like acne scarring and making skin look more clear. After repeatedly seeing the results people were having with Morpheus8, I decided to dive in and try it.
When did you get your treatments?
My first Morpheus8 treatment was in May and my second was in June. I also get Botox at Park so I worked with the team to time out the right plan for both treatments. I ended up having my third appointment in August.
How would you describe the feeling of Morpheus8?
I was nervous about the level of pain before getting my treatment but honestly, it really wasn’t that bad. I expected it to hurt way more – but once I got the first click, I was much more at ease. Even though it’s made up of mini needles, it really isn’t too bad – for me, it felt a bit like a small sting but only lasted for a second.
What did you notice after your first treatment?
Almost-immediate results! There was a bit of redness, which was minimal and gone by the time I woke up the next day. As soon as the redness subsided, I could see a difference. Within three to four days of my first Morpheus8 treatment, my partner was even noticing and mentioning how amazing my skin looked. It literally felt like I was growing a new layer of skin. And each time I went, it refreshed the initial wow factor of the results!
Now that you’ve had all three treatments, what is your skin like?
It feels like I have completely different skin compared to what I was working with before. The texture of my skin feels close to perfect. I never wore much makeup before the treatments – I now wear even less thanks to how my skin feels post-Morpheus8.
How was your experience at Park Medical AESTHETICS?
Great! I saw a few different nurses throughout my Morpheus8 treatments. Everyone was super nice, knowledgeable, and passionate about what they do. It was extremely reassuring to have people to walk me through the entire process. I researched on Reddit before heading into my first appointment, so I felt prepared but also had some questions. Nurse Laura went through them all with me and made me feel comfortable throughout the appointment.
Would you recommend Morpheus to a friend?
I absolutely would recommend Morpheus8 to anyone who wants to see an improvement in the texture and on the surface of their skin.
